The 2016 Common Field Convening Miami will explore arts organizing in a time of accelerated capitalism. 350+ organizers from across the country will come together for four days of panels, breakout groups, lightning talks, social events, and Miami arts experiences. Panels will explore national debates and values for organizing today--engaging issues including gentrification, transition, and critical production. Breakout sessions will provide opportunities for practical learning and in-depth conversation with other field members. Commissioned projects, social events, and tours will feature local artists and organizations, and connect you to one another through Miami's dynamic local art and culture.
